Mvoakraba – Connecting Classrooms

Posted by eastwoldblog on November 25, 2010

As I am sure that you remember, recently we were visited by our new friends from Uganda.

As part of the ‘Connecting Classrooms’ project – I have set up a website that all the schools from all the countries can use to keep in touch with each other.

I would be very grateful if you could visit:

Mvoakraba

Remember ‘Mvoakraba’ is a made up word combining the names of the national trees of Nigeria, Uganda and the UK.

Mvule (Uganda) + Oak (UK) + Araba (Nigeria) = Mvoakraba

On this page you will find a question, I would like you to post a comment with your answer to it.

Think carefully – I thought that it would be interesting to find out what different answers the children in different countries would give and whether there are any similarities.

Thank you

Mr W.
